New Pumps Are Installed at Lakeside Ampride!
We are pleased to announce that the new pumps have been installed at Lakeside Ampride on 4040 South Expressway in Council Bluffs. The new pumps and point-of-sale software are making huge improvements in the efficient dispensing of gas, diesel, and ethanol. The screens are easier to understand, are more user friendly and we know they will take the Iowa winters better. No guarantees however on tornados!
BLENDER PUMPS INCLUDED!
The new pumps also include two BLENDER PUMPS in the center islands for ethanol that allow you to select the standard Super Unleaded that has 10% ethanol, but you can also select E-20 (20% ethanol), E-40, and E-85 which we have had for several years. These pumps allow you to select one of the 4 blends that you may desire. Consider stopping in as you are visiting or shopping in Council Bluffs, dining in one of the new restaurants at the Metro Crossing or just going by and need gas. Gary, Larae and the crew are waiting to be of service. Speaking of Gary and Larae, they also want you to “Save the Date” July 8-9. They will be holding a Grand Reopening of the Ampride with great specials and gas pricing, AND a “Christmas in July” sales event at the Lakeside Country Store.
ACCOUNTING UPDATE
With the spring season billing and accounting activity hitting a pretty high level, we continue to strive to get and keep it as accurate as possible. .350 may be good in the major leagues, but it is pretty weak when your statement accuracy is concerning. As usual, giving office staff accurate splits and other billing information helps us help you. AND, we can put your identifying notes about loads and tanks on individual invoices which will transmit to the statement as well. Just tell us what you would like to identify.
ACCOUNTING ONLINE
Keep in mind that you can still look at ALL of your account information online. If you haven’t already, you can call Angie in Council Bluffs to get set up including your PIN number for security. You can look at your account statement, balances, tickets and billings, grain transactions, scale tickets and more.
NEW STATEMENTS COMING!
This has been an elusive goal but we are headed down the home stretch. CFO Ben Torell reports that the new high speed laser printer is in, the correct paper is ordered, sample statements have been run with the new layout and we ANTICIPATE new statements running in JUNE. This current MAY statement will be the old style. This will be a “cleaner” simpler layout with clearer information so that it will be less confusing and you will be able to understand your bill and mail the payment in even sooner than you do now! Thank you.
